30 Kilometer mountain trail marathon

Unbelievable Sunday.  I made it the first 15K, which was around 100% of the uphill battle!  I think we ran/walked an elevation from around 1800 meters to 3500 meters? then my knees went out and I limped down a side trail for almost 2 hours to the hydro plant/ temporary medical station and rode home in a vehicle.  Thank you everyone!

Chicken Yurt

I never got around to taking a photo of the finished chicken yurt, until today.  It was finished around 4 years ago.  and has not been touched since.  The chickens use it to lay eggs and raise their young.

The dome is an old glass sink, in order underneath is:  old inner tube, tetrapack silver roof, reused plastic shingles for the black roof.  underneath is a wooden yurt structure.
